About me
I am Clara Ruiz, a makeup artist based in Barcelona.
To me, makeup is not about transforming a face, but about understanding it, bringing it forward and finding what makes it singular.
My approach combines technique, elegance and attention to detail. I like to build makeup that fits each person: their features, their skin, their style and, above all, how they want to feel.
Every appointment is also a moment to feel comfortable, heard and safe. Because the result matters, but so does how you feel when you look in the mirror.

I am Clara Ruiz, a makeup artist based in Barcelona. I work in my studio in Gràcia and I also come to wherever you are getting ready, in Barcelona and the surrounding area. Every job starts the same way: by listening to you. You tell me what you have in mind, how you want to feel and what the occasion is, and from there I design makeup made for your features, your skin and your style. I work with high-end professional products for a flawless, long-lasting finish, in Spanish and English.

Bridal
Timeless, refined makeup so that on your wedding day you look like yourself, in person and in photos. Before the wedding we do a trial in my studio, whenever you prefer: one, two or three months before. Ideally not too far from the date, so your skin is close to how it will be on the day. Wedding season dates fill up fast: the sooner you write, the better.
Events
For wedding guests, parties, quinceañeras and any special occasion: from quiet elegance to a bolder glam, always adapted to you, your outfit and the moment. If you have a reference photo, it really helps.
Hair
If you want your hair styled, I do it myself. For more elaborate hairstyles, such as bridal ones, I coordinate a hair team depending on the event, and we organise everything together.
Editorial and photoshoots
Makeup made for the camera, for editorials, fashion and photoshoots, in the studio or on location, looking after the skin, the structure and every detail of the final image. I travel depending on the production.
